PRIVATE DINNER AND VIEWING OF RENAISSANCE TO GOYA EXHIBITION: AT THE ART GALLERY OF NSW
TCM provided the theming for a private dinner held at the Art Gallery of NSW during their exhibit of Renaissance to Goya: Prints and Drawings from Spain.
The colour palette of black, white and red referenced the artwork itself while also giving a nod to the colours featured in the client’s logo.
We incorporated charcoal pencils, mason jars and chalk board name cards into the table setting.
The bull fighter’s flag, which featured heavily throughout the exhibit, was showcased by a flair of red in the napkins and the florals which included carnations, the Spanish national flower.
Referring to the religious nature of the artwork, the centerpiece was a black metal cage in the shape of a church steeple which housed a unique floral display. The guest’s setting was outlined with intricate, hand-made paper placemats. Tying it all together, a solo guitarist performed Spanish Renaissance music during guest arrivals.
